As the interaction designer, I helped consolidate five separate workflows into a single, extendable system for tracking quota balances and issuing certificates for Australian exports. Our work won a Good Design award and has become foundational for managing Australia's export quotas.

Tiny Talking Todos (Talkies) is a voice-enabled task management app to help families manage the "mental load" of household responsibilities. What makes this project unique is its "malleable software" approach - which allows users to personalize and create custom list types using AI.

Improving interoperability between systems is complex technical work. I leveraged my product design expertise to build effective prototypes that helped two development teams align on a solution path for the Department of Agriculture, ultimately creating a seamless integration that benefited both developers and end users.

Working remotely with a team of educators I designed and developed an educational web platform for teachers and students, used in classrooms across Australia.
My case study details the challenges using technology in the classroom and how I was able to balance design and development in this hybrid role.

Working with a talented team at CHOICE, I helped develop and design a minimum viable product to evaluate a market opportunity.
In my case study I reflect on our user research, collaboration with product experts, rapid prototyping with Framer.js and our successful MVP.

The ELSA program brings STEM Learning to early years educators and children. As a UX Designer I supported the design process of 6 native apps across iOS and Android, tablets and phones.
My case study details the challenges of user testing with preschoolers and some insights on how to apply technology effectively in an early childhood service.

Prototyping
The Happy People program is a 4 week wellbeing campaign for businesses delivered as a web app. I co-designed the app with experts and users through an exhaustive prototyping approach enabled by Framer.js and Sketch.
In my case study I reflect on how prototyping can help drive decisions and push for strong design outcomes, and the right way to deliver prototypes to your team.

My first open source app, Omnivore is my exploration of what an AI powered app can be. Set in the kitchen, Omnivore is a helpful meal planner, with omnimodal features and smart context for helping you prepare your meals. It's easy to get up and running, and built with self-reflexive features, for any designers wanting to experiment with AI functionality.
This case study talks through the design of the app, the functionality enabled by OpenAI's platform and what I have planned for it next, after open sourcing the app.

Oma was a meal planner app I designed and developed with my mate as hobby to expand my web development skills.
In my case study I reflect on some fun features I implemented and why dog fooding is so important in product development.

Wriveted finds books that match a child's interests, increasing their desire to read and improving literacy. As a developer, I helped support the Wriveted team build their 1st MVP.
My case study reflects on the opportunity for low code prototypes to enable a lean approach and playing with hardware to deliver a memorable user experience.

I have a background in print design, it's where I first fell in love with product design. I still scratch that itch by making zines from time to time. One of my latest series of zine were constituted of 3 booklets that contained my small observations about Life, Love and Death. A tiny run of 200, printed by me on 100% Cotton paper with a Heidelberg Platen Letterpress Printer.
